    At FSB&W, we are primarily cloud based, with a hybrid-work environment. We offer 2-3 days on site in our Vernon Hills, Illinois office and 2-3 days remote, affording you the opportunity to work from home or office as needed. This is a unique opportunity to work from either location with flexibility in scheduling and seasonality in public accounting.

    Job Duties Include:

    Participate in audit planning, fieldwork, workpaper and financial statement preparation as well as client communication

    Conduct accounting compilations and reviews

    Preparation of individual, fiduciary, business tax returns

    Prepare sales and payroll taxes

    Conduct bookkeeping and related functions

    Provide outstanding client service and communication

    Maintain active communications within the firm to manage expectations, safeguard client satisfaction and ensure deadlines are met

    Successful candidate will have:

    Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting

    CPA strongly preferred, or pursuing

    Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in public accounting preferred

    Knowledge of QuickBooks Software (Desktop and Online)

    Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills

    Proficient in CCH software a plus
