    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Orange Barrel Media is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. In this role, your primary responsibility is to support general accounting functions including journal entry preparation, account analysis, fixed asset management, inventory management, and assisting in the monthly financial reporting cycle.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with the monthly close and preparation of financial statements across our various subsidiaries
    • Assist with external and internal audit requests
    • Track and maintain fixed assets and supporting documentation
    • Improve and Automate Fixed Asset Reporting
    • Collaborate with the Controllers in the implementation of Inventory ERP and 3-way match
    • Post monthly expense accruals and credit card activity
    • Reconcile prepaid activity and post monthly entries
    • Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis as needed
    • Assist in ad hoc reporting to management
    • Manage utility invoice approvals and support the Accounts Payable Coordinators as needed
    • Continue to improve internal process and recordkeeping
    • Prepare and Post daily and monthly Cash reconciliations

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
    • 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or manufacturing accounting
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent ability in Excel and Word
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Continia, and SAP Concur preferred
    • Experience building reporting in PowerBI or Tableau preferred
    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction
    • Proven attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation of work
    • Self-motivated with a preference for working in a team environment
