    The Staff Accountant will manage the full accounting lifecycle within our manufacturing environment. This role includes general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable processing, month-end closing procedures, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of GAAP, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing setting.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, preparing and recording accurate journal entries.
    • Process and verify accounts payable invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely payments and reconciliations.
    • Generate and send accounts receivable invoices, track and reconcile customer payments, manage collections, and maintain accurate AR records.
    • Prepare and assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including bank statement reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, analyze financial data, and provide insights to management, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
    • Reconcile inventory sub ledger to the general ledger, assist with physical inventory counts, and track and report on inventory movements.
    • Maintain the fixed asset register, calculate and record depreciation, and track and reconcile fixed asset acquisitions and disposals.
    • Assist with special projects and other accounting-related tasks as assigned, and maintain organized and accurate financial records.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA/CMA candidate preferred.
    • 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment, but not required.
    • Experience in the battery or renewable energy sector is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of GL accounting principles, manufacturing processes, and cost structures.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
    • Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
