    Job Summary:

    In this position, you will bring extensive experience creating financial statements, reconciliations, analysis, and managing general ledger functions, including month-end and year-end closing processes. Additionally, your high level of motivation, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement will ensure your success in meeting deadlines and driving excellence in your work.

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Manage monthly and daily bank reconciliation for multiple accounts.

    Responsible for proper analysis and timely reconciliation of general ledger accounts including but not limited to revenue accounts, inventory, prepaid expenses, and operating transfers.

    Manage accounting operations, including GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly P&Ls, financial statements, cash flow statements, and conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.

    Develop periodic reports for management.

    Prepare borrowing base reports for the bank.

    Manage client Invoices, enter invoices, and process payments.

    Oversee accounts payable functions, tax form preparation, and check issuance.

    Process monthly state and local business tax reports and payments.

    Initiates wires and ACH payments as needed using bank-provided tools.

    Initiates stop requests and research cash transactions as needed.

    Filing and other clerical duties as needed

    Other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications

    A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required or a combination of equivalent education

    Minimum 3 years of experience

    Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role

    Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and governmental accounting (GASB) practices.

    Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word and Excel

    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

    Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

    Strong knowledge of account analysis techniques

    Pertinent Federal, State and local codes, laws and regulations

    Compensation and Benefits

    Rate: $36.00 Per hour
