Investor Background Founded in 2009, Boathouse Capital is a private equity firm based in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The firm specializes in growth capital financing, minority recapitalizations, independent sponsor buyouts, strategic acquisitions, and management buyouts. The firm seeks to invest capital in the form of debt and equity into high-growth middle-market companies including SaaS/software, technology-enabled services, and healthcare IT/services companies. To date, Boathouse Capital has $350 million of capital under management, and typically invest $5 million to $30 million of flexible each investment, serving the lower middle market.

The candidate will be the Staff Accountant supporting the service center accounting function based in Marietta, GA, and will report to the Controller. The successful candidate will have the ability to function in a fast paced, high-energy environment. More specifically, the new Staff Accountant will be tasked with the following:

• In the near term, the role will be responsible for the Alabama office invoicing and distribution process. This role will expand as the shared service center develops over the 2023 fiscal year. • Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheets • Coordinate with management and staff to prepare annual budgets and forecasts • Resolve accounts payable and receivable issues or queries • Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions • Support the Sage Intacct implementation initiative • Complete month-end close task lists

Qualifications & Experience:

The new Staff Accountant will require the following qualifications and experience:

• Financial Experience. 1-3 years of accounting work experience • Private Equity Experience. Previous private equity experience is preferred. • Relevant Industry Experience. It is preferred, but not required, that the Staff Accountant have experience within B2B services. Previous experience across facilities services, commercial cleaning, and/or manufacturing is preferential. • Team Building and Leadership. Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Systems Experience. Jan Pro utilizes QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, ZenDesk, and other CRM tools. Experience with these or like systems is a plus. Proficient at Excel and PowerPoint. The right candidate will be tech savvy and a quick learner. • Franchise Experience. While not mandatory, experience in overseeing multiple franchises will be favorably viewed. • Education. Undergraduate degree is essential, with a preference for a BS / BA in accounting, finance, or a related field. • CPA. Active CPA license is preferred
