Compensation & Benefits • Salary: From $65,000 (based on experience) • Benefits: Employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Retirement: 401(k) with Employer Match • Bonuses: Performance-Based Incentives • Work-Life Balance: Reduced summer workweeks Responsibilities: • Plan and execute audits and review procedures for governmental and non-profit clients ensuring accurate financial statement preparation • Collaborate directly with Partners and Managers to address client and engagement management issues effectively • Establish clear and concise communication with clients' internal accounting and auditing departments to ensure exceptional service provision • Strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities for new business development • Provide guidance and mentorship to staff accountants to cultivate a collaborative and educational work environment • Conducting audits and review procedures for a diverse client base • Collaborating with Partners and Managers to strengthen client relationships and explore new business opportunities Qualifications: Qualifications & Requirements Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) Experience: • 1+ years in external audit within public accounting or a blend of governmental public accounting and GAAP financial statement review/compilation (preferred) Knowledge: • Strong grasp of governmental accounting and auditing standards Skills: • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Travel: • Must have a personal vehicle for client site visits, meetings, or seminars, with frequent daily travel and occasional overnight stays Compensation: $65,000+ yearly
