    We are seeking talented front-end, full-stack, backend, and platform engineers to join our client's team.     Location: This role is based in NYC and the tri-state area only, with an office located in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood, benefiting from its vibrant creative energy.

    What to Expect:

    First Week:

    • Receive a buddy to help with onboarding.
    • Get end-to-end tests passing locally in your environment.
    • Merge your first story after passing automated checks and peer review.
    • Start 1x1s with your manager.

    First Month:

    • Ship a feature to production.
    • Contribute to planning, retrospectives, and code reviews.
    • Write your first design document for a major feature.

    Second Month:

    • Deliver your first dev talk.
    • Establish your development goals with your manager.
    • Deliver larger stories to production.

    Third Month:

    • Start interviewing potential new hires.
    • Join the on-call rotation for your team.
    • Establish ownership of an epic from design to task delegation.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    The Staff Full-Stack Engineer role is incredibly impactful and visible. In this role, you will work closely with Product and User Experience teams to shape, design, deliver, and run the features that differentiate the product for clients. You will:

    • Build product features end-to-end, from web UI to distributed services backend.
    • Help shape the engineering culture.
    • Have a voice in early technology and implementation choices.
    • Evaluate and integrate critical third-party software and infrastructure, including payments and mobility stacks.
    • Challenge the team to automate, improve processes, simplify, and raise the bar for quality.

    Requirements:

    • 8-12+ years of experience working with first-class engineering teams, with a proven track record of frequent delivery of quality software to production.
    • Substantial experience with server-side programming, various databases, messaging, REST and APIs, and distributed systems.
    • Extensive experience with modern web development, including TypeScript, design systems, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Next.js).
    • Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to manage complexity and scale software across multiple teams.
    • Extensive experience working in cross-functional agile teams, in collaboration with product and design.
    • Deep hands-on knowledge of cloud development (preferably AWS).
    • Proven history of delivering complex, highly available, and scalable distributed systems.
    • Pragmatic, passionate about building amazing products for customers.
    • Ability to work independently with little oversight in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high-energy, mission-driven colleagues.
