Staff Lead Structural Engineer – Katy, TX / Houston (Energy Corridor)
Are you a seasoned Structural Engineer with a strong offshore oil and gas background and expertise in SACS software? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our client's team in Houston, TX (Energy Corridor), to lead and contribute to a range of dynamic offshore projects.
About the Role:
As a Staff Lead Structural Engineer, you’ll work on exciting projects such as subsea manifolds, offshore platform decommissioning, seafastening, winch tie-downs, pipelay engineering, subsea pipelines, heavy lift, and subsea lowering. This position is ideal for a professional who excels at managing workloads, guiding team members, and maintaining a commitment to high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- SACS Expertise: Lead and execute structural analysis and design tasks using SACS software; additional proficiency in STAAD Pro and RISA is highly desirable.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to less experienced structural team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Problem Solving: Utilize logical reasoning and critical thinking to solve complex structural challenges efficiently.
- Project Contribution: Work hands-on with the team to ensure successful project completion, meeting technical and quality standards.
- Workload Management: Prioritize and manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Extensive experience in offshore oil and gas projects, with at least several years of stable employment at your current organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SACS software is a must; experience with STAAD Pro and RISA is a plus.
- Communication: Polished verbal and written communication skills, with complete fluency in English.

- Other Requirements:
- Currently employed with a stable job history.
- In-office attendance required five days a week in Katy, TX.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).
