NOTICE OF FILING AT ACTION THERAPY CENTERS, LIMITED PARTNERSHIP
An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Homeland Security. This Notice of Filing will be posted for 10 consecutive business days, ending between 30 and 180 days before filing the permanent labor certification application.
POSITION: Staff Physical Therapist
SALARY: $84,427.00 / year
The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage of $84,427.00 as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
HOURS: Full-time / 40 hours per week
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program plus at least 6 months’ relevant physical therapy experience. Also requires a current Physical Therapist License in Texas and current CPR Certification.
DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Administrator of the facility, the Physical Therapist will obtain patient’s medical history; evaluate and administer treatment pursuant to the physician referral; complete all appropriate documentation in the patient’s medical records; instruct patient and family members in necessary patient care, assist in the total rehabilitation of the patient; assist in the training of support personnel and in the presentation of in-service programs; and perform clerical and other duties as assigned. Other essential duties and responsibilities include the following: performing initial evaluation of the patient’s status prior to treatment; contacting the referring physician, as indicated, and discussing appropriate patient treatment plan; and administering treatments to the patient in accordance with the physician referral.
