About Us:
Platinum Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Inc. is a physical therapist owned company that provides one on one care without the use of aides or assistants to a wide variety of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and pelvic health concerns.
We are currently looking for a full-time physical therapist to join our outstanding team of PTs in our Ashland, Hopkinton, and Milford locations.
Our Ashland location is conveniently located near the train station and across the street from Murphy’s ice cream! After opening in 2004, we have grown from one PT to four PTs and one OT who love serving our community.
Our Hopkinton location is convenient to I-495 and also has our Alter-G anti-gravity treadmill. Since opening in 2009, we have grown into a clinic with 5 PTs that provide care across the lifespan
Our Milford office is located in The Gym (https://www.thegymma.com/milford) and PTs have full gym access with their patients including a functional training area and turf.
Members of our physical therapy staff implement plans of care for our patients and educate the local community about the role of physical therapy in the healthcare system. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Implement and carry out physical therapy plan of care in one-on-one 40 minute time slots for evaluations and treatments
Open 56 patient slots/week (37.5 treatment hours with lunch time allocated)
Manage one’s own schedule through waitlists and communication with front desk
Engage with the local community at large through 1-2 local marketing events per year
Complete necessary documentation and chart review as needed within and outside of patient treatment hours
Participate in continuing education requirements of maintaining a professional license in the state of Massachusetts
Maintain a clean, organized clinic for patient care
Required Skills/Abilities:
Willingness to learn and lead by example
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Maintain a positive attitude with patients and staff
Use of computer for documentation and communication with patients and staff
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Physical Therapy required
Active physical therapy license in good standing in the Commonwealth of MA
Experience in outpatient orthopedics physical therapy setting preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical demands of role of physical therapist including manual therapies, exercise demonstration, and guarding for safety
Computer use for documentation, email, and marketing
Lifting and carrying of marketing materials and clinic supplies
