Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our mobile Physical Therapy team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care and assist in the rehabilitation process. Duties:
Assist in the implementation of treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Familiarity with various treatment modalities, including trigger point therapy and acute care techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
