    What you get to do in this role:

    • You’ll use ServiceNow platform to develop AI Agents for customers
    • Develop features to allow our platform the ability to add AI Agent functionalities
    • You’ll coordinate and integrate the work of fellow designers for a seamless and unified experience.
    • Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
    • Partner with staff engineer peers to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
    • Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
    • Be a mentor for junior colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
    • Collaborate with experienced engineering team members that learn from one another and drives each other to success.
    • You’ll Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality and Deliver an amazing product that delights end users

    To be successful in this role you have:

    • Passion for AI and cutting-edge technologies
    • Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
    • Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like, React or Vue
    • Ability to understand and distill complex problems into elegant, informed solutions
    • Experience working in an iterative and agile development environment
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional and multi-disciplined teams

    Nice to have:

    • Knowledge or experience working with of AI agents
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
    • A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience
    • 6+ years of software development with Enterprise experience using Java and JavaScript
    • Fluency with JavaScript, React, HTML and CSS or similar technologies
    • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining frontend and backend architectures

    For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $147,300 - $257,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
