A highly regarded Public Accounting firm in Quincy, MA is hiring an Accountant who to work in a small, cohesive team while gaining direct professional mentorship from the firm's Founder. You will have exposure to all aspects of business, with an emphasis on tax accounting. This is a great opportunity to help grow a company, be trained by the best, and have a direct impact on the firms success and 500+ client relationships. Ideally you will generate Individual and Corporate tax returns, assist in the preparation of financial documents, as well as review reports as needed with the Partner.

Must Have Skills

• 1+ years of experience in tax accounting or 3-5 years in corporate accounting
• Well versed in MS Office - Especially Excel
• Familiarity with tax software, ideally Prosystems fx Tax
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Nice to Have Skills

• Proficiency working directly with clients
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and other reports
• CPA or CPA track
