JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen. 

A financial Controller’s goal in a company is to maximize profits. Financial Controllers perform data analysis and advise managers on ways to maximize profits, making them responsible for the finances of a company. They create financial reports, investment strategies and long-term financial goals for the business, and they make it easier for everyone to understand in simpler terms the financial state of a business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions
• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
• Prepare tax documents
• Compile and analyze financial statements
• Manage budgeting and forecasting
• Manage Quick Books

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Valid CPA status
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Attention to detail
• Basic math skills to make accurate calculations and estimates
• Good understanding of international finance
• Organization and project management
• Strong understanding of tax codes and laws
• Proficiency with accounting software
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
