Standard Cable, a leading manufacturer of power cords and electrical products is seeking an Account Manager/Technical Sales.
Responsibilities
- Management of customer accounts to include Building the relationship, understanding the customer requirements, proactively tracking customer orders to ensure on time delivery and maintain account profiled for each assigned account.
- Perform daily maintenance of special customer programs.
- Work with comprehensive computer system to ensure correct costs and pricing to customers and to present cost proposals.
- Ongoing review and maintenance of lead times and stock levels.
- Daily interaction with production areas; scheduling customer orders, prioritizing needs following up on and communicating customer quality concerns.
- Works well in a team environment, backing up and covering for one another.
- Visits customers as required (Not Frequent)
Skills
Equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of production or account experience a plus.
- Strong customer service, communications and organizational skills.
- Manufacturing or similar industries experience a plus.
- Project management experience a plus.
- Microsoft Office skills (word, Excel and Outlook) is required.
