The Stateline YMCA is currently hiring a part-time Gymnastics Coach for our Beloit Gymnastics Center. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instruct/coach gymnastics lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines, having prepared lesson plans accordingly
• Build effective, authentic relationships with participants and parents; help them connect with each other and the YMCA. Encourages parent involvement and identifies potential volunteers
• Convey information on gymnastics programs and schedules and, as appropriate, refer participants and parents to other programs
• Maintain records as required (i.e. attendance, progress reports, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years' related experience preferred

Skills

• CPR, First Aid and AED certification and/or experience a plus
• Ability to maintain positive presence in the facility
• Prior knowledge/experience of gymnastics skills preferred
