About the Position: We are seeking a talented and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique needs of students with emotional and behavioral disorders and will be able to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver individualized and specialized instruction that meets the needs of students with emotional and behavioral disorders Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including therapists, psychologists, and case managers, to support student progress Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction and make adjustments as needed Implement behavior management strategies and provide individualized support to help students succeed in the classroom and beyond Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to promote student success and maintain a positive, supportive learning environment Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education State certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience teaching students with emotional and behavioral needs in a mental health or behavioral health setting Knowledge of evidence-based practices and strategies for supporting students with emotional and behavioral disorders Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills If you are a dynamic and dedicated educator who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of students with emotional and behavioral needs, we would love to hear from you!
