Stock Assistant

We are seeking an energetic Stock Assistant to work alongside our Operations Manager and Sales team. The candidate will work with the team to receive and inspect incoming inventory, verify deliveries to invoices, and assist with inventory counts.

Products consist primarily of shoes, apparel and outdoor items.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Processing incoming freight, verifying accuracy of deliveries against orders and invoices, and labeling product for the sales floor

· Recording and reporting overages or shortages; notifying manager of any discrepancies

· Conducting regular inventory cycle counts

· Hanging and tagging clothing for placement on sales floor

· Keeping all inventory organized and easily accessible

Physical Requirements

· Work may involve bending, reaching, carrying, climbing and prolonged sitting and standing. Apparel delivery boxes may be 30 to 40lbs

Education and Experience

· Data entry skills

· Proficient with electronic scanning equipment

Hours can vary from 20 - 30 hours per week

Starting wage: $16.00 per hour
