    Job Summary We are seeking a full-time Store Manager with a passion for nature to lead and oversee the operations of our retail store. The Store Manager is responsible for driving the store’s productivity and profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key responsibilities include sales, customer service, inventory management, community engagement, and team leadership.

    The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and inspiring leader with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and retail metrics.     Responsibilities

    Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, product ordering, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and profitability.

    Direct, coach, and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer engagement and uphold best practices.

    Manage HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, training, scheduling within budget, and conducting annual performance evaluations.

    Execute the Marketing Planner and ensure promotions, displays, and events are properly staffed and set up.

    Lead community engagement initiatives by fostering partnerships, representing the store at events, and building relationships with organizations like the local Chamber of Commerce.

    Plan and execute in-store events and services, focusing on creating meaningful connections with the local community.

    Uphold company policies and ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.

    Communicate effectively with customers and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, adaptability, and openness to feedback.

    Perform other duties or special projects as assigned to support the store’s success.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a customer-focused environment.

    Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.

    Proficiency in Retail POS systems and Microsoft Office is required.

    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and perform tasks that require physical stamina.

    Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and opening or closing shifts, based on business needs.

    Comfortable handling responsibilities like making bank deposits and other operational errands.

    A passion for nature or backyard bird feeding is a plus, but not required—training will be provided!
