    Job Title: Store Picker

    Location: San Clemente, CA

    Shift: 5pm – 1am (Tuesday-Friday) & 3pm-10:30pm Satuday

    Overview

    The Store Picking role is responsible for receiving produce and raw foods, assembling, shipping, labeling, and/or packaging foods to customers using manual assembly and equipment. Must be able to work in all temperature-controlled environments. Follows all safety and health standards.

    Objectives

    · Selects and packages products for shipment based on customer orders.

    · Uses technology, including handheld devices, to sort, scan and prepare orders Surveys product for possible damage or defects before shipment

    · May be training to do a bigger job, work in a variety of areas, conveyor/ assembly lines, receiving, shipping, inventory, and other processes independently. The duties may be routine from week to week, but there is some variety of experiences to learn more or move up in the business.

    · Operates or can operate multiple pieces of IT equipment (approximately 50% of total equipment)

    · within at least 2 departments

    · Package kits following prescribed processes and procedures. Deviation from normal processes must be approved

    · Rotate and check food ingredients for freshness. May receive products and verify the accuracy of the delivery. May be required to sanitize items and ensure accurate traceability methods are followed

    · Keep work area/assembly clean, demonstrating clean-as-you-go practices

    · Prepares and understands a variety of routine paperwork associated with food preparation, packaging, labeling, and controls.

    · Ensures all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed and may champion the GMP processes. At times may be assigned to other areas other than where they normally work In coordination with the team lead, identifies issues with the product, Food Safety, Quality, or equipment, escalates matters to other departments or higher levels when
