Job Description
• Service Central Store customers while projecting a positive attitude.
• Assist employees with transactions at the Central Store window.
• Help with day to day activities including, but not limited to, receiving parts, issuing parts, filling pick tickets and adding new parts.
• Have a good attendance record.
• Must be flexible to cover all shifts as necessary. Scheduled hours will fluctuate with need.
• Candidate will assist with, and adhere to, all safety processes and security measures to promote a clean, safe work environment.
• Create requisitions within D7i.
• Contact venders to discuss issues pertaining to parts and repairs in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory accuracy of all Central Store locations.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Identify cost savings opportunities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to perform duties at heights.
• Capable to use small tools.
• Obtain a forklift license to unload trucks when necessary.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for pick up or delivery of parts when needed.
• Should be detail oriented and have good communication skills.
• Possess basic computer skills. Prior knowledge of Oracle, D7i, Excel and Outlook is preferred.
• Knowledge of processes in a Central Store is a plus.
• Understanding of maintenance parts is a plus.
• Open to additional training opportunities to improve skills.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Employee must work at a productive rate in a fast paced environment, maintain quality, and perform all other duties as assigned.
