    Job Description

    COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

    Stormalong Cider is a rapidly growing craft cider producer located in Sherborn & Leominster, MA that is looking for a friendly, outgoing and motivated cider enthusiast that wants to join our team. We’re seeking part-time staff to help execute a variety of promotional opportunities, including samplings and other marketing activities at liquor store tastings, beer, cider and music festivals, farmer’s markets and other scheduled beverage events. These events take place across Massachusetts (Boston, Somerville, Waltham, Jamaica Plain, Medford etc.) 

    This position involves working with alcoholic beverages and in environments where alcoholic beverages are served and consumed.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Represent Stormalong and sample our portfolio of ciders to potential customers at a variety of events, including: Farmers markets, retail store tastings, tastings at bars and restaurants, and beer, cider, and music festivals
    • Event/sampling set-up and tear down of all events
    • Educate and taste the Stormalong portfolio of ciders at designated appearances
    • Engage with consumers in an easy and fun manner in order to raise awareness of the Stormalong brand
    • Social media support with content, images and stories
    • Help to research, target and select experiential opportunities that are effective

    QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be 21 or older to apply
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (May be required to travel when necessary)
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends
    • Residence in Massachusetts
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. when required (Occasional lifting of cases, tent and tables set up etc.)
    • Be comfortable speaking with the general public and educating about our products
    • Be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
    • Have a passion for cider and/or craft beverages (Recommended but not required)

    Schedule:

    • Weekends required

    Working days:

    • Wednesday (12-6pm)
    • Thursday (3-7pm)
    • Friday (11am - 6pm)
    • Saturday (10am - 2pm)
    • Sunday (11am - 4pm)
