    JOB SUMMARY

    The Strategic Communications Intern will assist in an organizational brand evaluation and a recommitment to brand standards including the production of a new Evergreen brand manual. The intern will support the team in designing plans to reintroduce brand standards and encourage employee commitment to the new brand guidelines. Additionally, the intern shall coordinate with the Chief Business Officer on a comprehensive assessment of Evergreen Life Services' communications and practices including recommendations for the CEO.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in branding initiatives.

    Compile all organizational communications materials, policies, and procedures for evaluation.

    Research as directed by industry best practices in branding and communications.

    Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas to communication initiatives.

    Support the team communications production tasks as needed.

    Work collaboratively with other team members, taking feedback and integrating it into deliverables.

    Stay informed on industry trends to continuously improve skills and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team.

    Support other miscellaneous tasks as needed, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.

    QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/JOB KNOWLEDGE

    Bachelor’s degree.

    Strong creativity skills, with a keen eye for details, aesthetics, and media production.

    Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Proactive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges and continuously improve.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    Regularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

    Occasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions.

    Constantly alert and observant during working hours.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Will not supervise.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    Represent Evergreen in public in a fashion that would reflect the credibility and professionalism of the organization.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Working knowledge of Google Workspace.

    Organized with attention to detail.

    Ability to work both independently on assignments and collaboratively as part of a team.

    Aptitude to learn other software programs as required for this position.

    EMPLOYMENT VARIABLES

    Must have a good driving record that meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation.

    Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

    Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes all shifts, including nights, days, and weekends.

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT

    May be required to work in a variety of settings and environments, both indoors and outdoors.

    This is a remote position.
