As the Strategic Partnerships Manager for Veteran Non-Profits, you will drive business development efforts and establish strong relationships with Veteran focused charities who promote financial resources for Veterans.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in building strategic partnerships within the Veteran nonprofit space with a network ready to hit the ground running. Veterans are encouraged to apply!
Position: Strategic Partnerships Manager (Veteran Non-Profits)
Compensation: $120K-$140K + 20% bonus
Location: Chicago, IL with 50% travel
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build and Manage Relationships: Develop direct relationships with veteran-focused organizations who offer financial solutions for Veterans.
- Drive Negotiations: Work closely with non-profits to facilitate their understanding of CPC's mission and financial lending products.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with charity partners to develop tools and services for free, helping veterans and others in need access updated resources.
- Brand Promotion: Represent CPC Marketing at key Veteran Non-Profit events conferences to drive brand awareness and generate new opportunities.
- Partnership Strategy: Work with cross-functional teams and Not For Profit partners to design and implement a community-focused program that highlights CPC’s mission and impact
Requirements:
- Has an established network in the Veteran non-profit area (existing connections within organizations like IAVA, DAV, VFW, AUSA preferred)
- Has at least 3 years of experience in partnership management, with focus specifically on Veteran nonprofits.
- Is results-oriented, with a proven track record of successfully negotiating partnerships and managing key business relationships.
- Has an entrepreneurial spirit, able to operate with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced, growing company.
- Experience in, or an understanding of performance marketing is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
