    Job Description

    Strategic Technology Institute Inc, is currently staffing for an Application Developer to support Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and provide expertise is in direct support of learning and data management for Force Development (FD) Recruit, Train, and Educate (RT&E) systems and will perform work as part of a government-led multi-functional team.

    THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER shall design and develop website architecture, including translating mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code, creating functional and secure website/portal/application. The Application Developer shall develop functional databases and servers to support websites on the back end. The Application Developer shall ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions. The Application Developer shall ensure all solutions follow Air Force and DoD cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Contractor personnel possessing a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field with a minimum of five years of experience of computer coding is highly desirable. Personnel shall possess a strong background with software languages such as Java, .Net, Python, C#, C+ or similar language, in addition to working knowledge of relational databases. Personnel must possess and maintain required IA System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II certification IAW AFMAN 17-1303., § 3.2.6. Individuals in this position must be U.S. citizens and must qualify for a secret security clearance.
