Northeast Sweeping LLC is seeking a reliable Street Sweeper Operator // Sweeper Mechanic to help maintain clean and safe roads, highways, and construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be mechanically inclined, and possess a clean light driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a street sweeper truck along assigned routes, including city streets, highways, and construction sites

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper operation

• Remove dirt, debris, and hazardous materials from roadways and work zones

• Comply with all safety regulations and traffic laws while operating equipment

• Conduct basic mechanical maintenance and repairs on sweepers and related equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate major repairs when needed

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and work crews regarding site conditions

Qualifications:

• Must have a clean light driver’s license (CDL preferred, Class B or higher)

• Mechanically inclined and capable of performing basic maintenance and repairs on equipment

• Experience operating commercial vehicles or heavy equipment is a plus

• Ability to work independently and follow designated routes

• Strong attention to safety and detail

• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and lift up to [X] lbs
