    STRETCH PRACTITIONER – STRETCHLAB BOTHELL/LYNNWOOD

    StretchLab Bothell/Lynnwood is a boutique fitness and wellness concept studio seeking a dynamic person who is a physical therapist / PT assistant, personal trainer, massage therapist, Pilates/yoga/dance instructor, chiropractic aide, or comes from a kinesiology, exercise science or sports medicine background. Our studios are located in Canyon Park, Bothell, WA and near the Alderwood Maill in Lynnwood, WA.

    This position is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm!

    StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist® Training Program (FTP) ensures that our team members receive high caliber training and that our clients receive world class stretching sessions. FTP is the United States’ first nationally accredited program for assisted stretching by the Institute of Credentialing Excellence (ICE).

    POSITION: STRETCH PRACTITIONER

    The Stretch Practitioner is responsible for providing an extraordinary professional stretch experience. Through personalized one-on-one stretches, you establish rapport with our clients and help them achieve their wellness and fitness goals through more flexibility and freedom of movement.

    This position is a part-time opportunity offering 25-30+ hours per week.

    ** Availability to work at least 1 weekend day is required for this role.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Passion for helping people in their health, fitness and wellness journey

    Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Athletic/Sports Science, Human Biomechanics, Human Anatomy/Movement, Physiology or related field

    -OR-

    Certification in Physical Therapy/Assistant, fitness, personal training, athletic training or other related bodywork certifications (ACE, NASM, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, etc.)

    Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes people from all backgrounds

    Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills - excels at 1:1 interactions

    Must love connecting with people and building relationships with the community

    Professional work ethic, reliable and punctual

    Must be available to go through our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 15-20 hours of online tutorials, 2 days of in-person and hands-on training, and 20 hours of practice (you will be compensated for training hours)

    Physical Therapy Assistants or PT graduate students

    Fitness Trainer

    Personal or Athletic Trainer

    Sports or Chiropractic Medicine

    Pilates or Yoga Instructor

    Massage Therapist

    Strength and Conditioning Coach

    Corrective Exercise Specialist

    Dance Instructor

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Deliver one-on-one high quality stretch sessions to members and prospective members

    Partner with members in their health and wellness journey by developing a customized program to achieve mobility, range of motion and flexibility goals

    Educate, encourage and motivate members during stretch sessions and recommend follow-up plan of action to achieve greater results

    Help build and retain StretchLab membership by developing client relationships

    Understand clients’ needs and goals, and apply to customized stretch routine

    Enter session notes into clients' profile to ensure optimal outcomes for subsequent visits

    Ensure follow-up appointments are scheduled to maximize membership utilization

    Ensure safety of clients regarding proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules

    Attend staff meetings, trainings and required educational presentations to stay current on new industry standards and relevant continuing education

    Clean and maintain studio stretching equipment

    Assist with pop-ups, demos, studio tours and other community events/promotions

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    Competitive hourly rate plus bonus potential (based on individual and studio performance)

    Standard pay: starting $26.50/hour
