About the Position!
Are you a skilled legal professional looking to join a dynamic and supportive team? This is What You Will Do!
Case intake, Opening new case files (This will occupy MOST of your time!)
Answering phones and screening calls with a welcoming personality and great phone demeanor
Ordering office supplies and maintaining office organization (sort of boring, but kind of fun)
-Preparation of Trial Binders, Exhibit Binders, etc. (If you have not done this before, don't worry! We'll teach you.)
Legal filing and organization (Mostly naming and sorting of electronically stored documents, but also scanning and maintaining physical files)
Opening and organizing mail (No envelope licking required. You will be provided all the tools you need to accomplish this task)
Reviewing documentation and consulting with attorneys regarding potential clients.
Managing the phone system
Assisting with remote deposition setup and virtual meetings
Client communication! (Lots of it)
Qualifications: You should be good at doing all of the above, or at least have the ability and willingness to learn how to do them all well.
