DIRECT HIRE | CIVIL/STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER (PE) | KCMO

An engineering firm based in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer (PE) to join their team. This role involves performing structural analysis and design for various projects and components; supporting sales & fabrication teams on RFPs/RFQs, etc. Responsibilities also include reviewing technical drawings and providing calculations as required. The engineer will also assist with other product lines within the organization.

• Anticipate $100-$120K, dependent on experience
• Base salary will increase dependent on PE Licensure (number of active states)
• Full suite of benefits, 401K, etc.
• Office-based position, M-F

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structural design and calculations for liquid containers, foundations, and related components.
• Review and approve technical drawings and design calculations for accuracy.
• Provide designs and calculations for custom projects and quotes according to established timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering 
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Ability to work independently,  meet deadlines, and communicate with team/departments effectively
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
• Experienced in Engineering software, such as:  CAD, REVIT, BIM, 3D Modeling, STAAD Pro, etc.
• Proficient in MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
