Coffman’s is seeking a Structural Engineer with one to two years of experience with design of steel, concrete, wood and masonry commercial/institutional buildings. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated, energetic individual who would like to work and grow as a team player within our progressive, multidiscipline firm. Coffman is committed to providing a learning environment that will help the successful candidate propel their career to a high level.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• BS in civil engineering (required), with emphasis in structures (required)
• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
• Registration as an E.I.T. (preferred)
• 1-2 years of professional work experience.
• Coursework in concrete and steel design.
• Ability to work with local architectural/engineering community (preferred)
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience with structural analysis software
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Being comfortable consulting to architectural practices
• Working as part of a multidiscipline design team
