Structural Engineer
Minneapolis, MN - Hybrid | Direct Hire | $80 - $100k

Konik is partnering with a local engineering consultant who is seeking to add a structural engineer to their team.

Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design efforts by applying advanced engineering principles, industry standards, and problem-solving skills to develop efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and clients, to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Evaluate design alternatives in early project phases to support informed decision-making and present recommendations effectively.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, edit specifications, and ensure coordination of technical drawings across disciplines.
• Conduct construction site visits (up to 10% travel) to observe progress, address RFIs, and review shop drawings for compliance.

Structural Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering focus.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis, design codes, and construction practices.
• Ability to mentor and support junior engineers while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Experience writing proposals, estimating project fees, and engaging with clients throughout project execution.
