We are a locally owned infrastructure contractor that is focused on building concrete structures and bridges in the state of Georgia. We are a growing company with a strong backlog. The ideal candidate for this position has experience in bridge and concrete structures construction on GDOT projects. We are looking for someone that is passionate about the industry and willing to take on responsibility.
Required Experience
Minimum 10+ years total experience in heavy highway and 3-5+ years of project management experience in heavy highway infrastructure development with a focus in structures including any of the scopes of work involving Vehicular Bridges (concrete and steel girder), retaining walls, box culverts, MSE walls, sound walls, permanently anchored wall, pedestrian bridges, temporary shoring.
GDOT experience is a plus.

Project Planning and Scheduling
Thoroughly reviews and understands all plan details and specifications.
Prepare and submit RFIs / Change Orders for any missing details or new scope of work(s).
Prepare and submit project submittals as required by specifications.
Prepare and maintain projects master schedule based on budgeted/estimated manhours and production. Provides schedule and recommendations to direct report(s) and superintendents.
Prepare and maintain individual project schedules based on budgeted/estimated manhours and production. Reviews and provides schedule and expectations to superintendent(s) and crew.
Plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.
Plans and schedules subcontractor and suppliers 4-6 weeks in advance.
6 months ahead Advance Resource Planning to ensure levels for labor, materials, and equipment to achieve revenue goals.
Communicate job progress with superintendents and leadership on a regular basis and adjust and recommend changes as necessary to achieve project schedule and budget.
Ensuring projects are tracking and completed on schedule.
Project Budgeting and Cost Control
Ability to estimate cost for heavy civil scope of work.
Thoroughly reviewing and understanding all project cost budgets.
Consistently monitors and addresses project job cost through VISTA and Heavy Job on a monthly basis at minimum.
Completes a revised cost to completion on a monthly basis.
Completes a revised 12-month revenue projection on a monthly basis.
Identifies and addresses potential pitfalls that can take a project off budget.
Ensuring that projects are tracking and completed within budget.

Taking full ownership and responsibility of each project to track and complete within budget and schedule using the company’s technology investments.
Provides training and mentorship (i.e. develops Associate Project Managers)
