    Job Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled Structural & Payload Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements. You will use advanced 3-D computer-aided design tools and modern design methods to create, maintain, and refine component designs, ensuring that all systems meet or exceed project specifications.

    Key Responsibilities

    • System Design & Integration:
    * Develop, integrate, and document requirements for structural and interior payload systems.
    
    • CAD Development & Modification:
    * Utilize 3-D CAD tools to create, maintain, and modify designs for structural components and payload systems.
    
    • Validation & Verification:
    * Validate designs by integrating analytical data and test results, ensuring systems and components meet all requirements.
    
    • Supplier Coordination:
    * Collaborate with suppliers to optimize design processes and manage development, testing, and production activities.
    
    • Process Improvement:
    * Enhance the efficiency, quality, and overall effectiveness of the design process by implementing innovative analysis tools and methodologies.
    
    • Research & Development:
    * Investigate emerging technologies and develop concepts for future products to meet anticipated market requirements.
    

    Qualifications

    • Education:
    * Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
    
    • Technical Proficiency:
    * Proficient in the use of 3-D computer-aided design tools, such as CATIA V5 and Enovia, or similar CAD/CAM software.
    
    * Demonstrated experience in developing, maintaining, and modifying structural and payload system designs.
    
    • Skills & Competencies:
    * Strong foundation in mechanical design and engineering principles.
    
    * Excellent analytical skills with the ability to integrate test data and drive design improvements.
    
    * Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
    
    • Additional:
    * Proven problem-solving skills and a keen interest in continuous process and technological improvement.
    

    Salary info:

    $80 - $90 / hr
