Structural Technician (Entry Level)
Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $20 - $28/hr

Konik is partnering with a local engineering consultant who is seeking to add an entry-level structural technician to their team.

Structural Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers and designers by preparing structural drawings and drafting support for projects from concept to construction.
• Set up and modify plans, sections, and details following CAD standards and project guidelines.
• Review and correct drawings based on redline markups to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Continuously develop drafting and design skills to enhance technical expertise and project efficiency.
• Support document management tasks, including plotter maintenance and project archiving.
• Occasional travel may be required for site visits to support construction projects.
  
  

Structural Technician Qualifications:

• Certificate or Degree in architecture, structural, or similar program preferred; 1+ year of relevant experience in structural drafting in lieu of a certificate will be considered.
• Proficiency in CAD software with an understanding of industry drafting standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and implement design revisions.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and designers to develop effective structural solutions.
• Willingness to learn and expand technical skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
