Position Overview:
We are seeking a Structural Engineer with expertise in bridge design, structural analysis, and modular construction. This role will involve working closely with project teams, overseeing design specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for modular bridge projects, ensuring compliance with AASHTO, DOT, and other regulatory standards.
- Develop and review engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for bridge components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and construction teams to optimize structural solutions.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections as needed to support project execution.
- Utilize structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit) to model and evaluate bridge designs.
- Ensure quality control and structural integrity throughout the design and fabrication process.
- Stay up to date with advancements in modular bridge technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- PE license not required, but a PLS is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- 5+ years of experience in bridge design, preferably with modular or prefabricated structures.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA, and DOT design requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
