    $30-$38/hr (Based on Experience)

    Note:

    • Must be a U.S. citizen or resident.
    • Must be able to relocate at your own expense.
    • Must have your own tools.
    • Must be able to work on a Per Diem Split.
    • Must be able to start within 2-3 weeks.
    • Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
    • Must be able to pass a 10-Year Criminal Background Check and a Pre-Employment Drug Screen.

    Position Summary:

    Fabricate, install, assemble, and repair both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces on VIP aircraft.

    Essential Job Functions:

    1. Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and other documents to accurately determine work steps, including correctly sizing and drilling holes for riveting.
    2. Rivet sheet metal and component parts utilizing properly tagged and identified tools.
    3. Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners.
    4. Observe company rules and regulations, including housekeeping, proper use of safety methods, and the safe operation of equipment.
    5. Ensure regulatory documentation is completed in a timely fashion in accordance with the RSQM and other quality standards. Complete all sign-offs and component removal/installation sheets at the time the task is performed.
    6. Utilize all available resources to accurately perform work steps in a safe and timely manner.
    7. Perform other duties as assigned that are not specifically mentioned herein.

    Minimum Qualifications, Education, Experience, Licenses, Etc.:

    • High school diploma or GED required. Relevant trade school attendance is a plus.
    • 6 years of structures installation experience, preferably in a corporate aviation completion environment.
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.

    Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • With guidance, the ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints.
    • Self-starting and motivated with a desire to learn.
    • Ability to apply routine to complex mathematical problems to solve work issues.
    • Ability to comprehend and retain on-the-job training (OJT).
    • Proficient mechanical aptitude.
    • Ability to read measuring devices such as a scale or caliper.
    • Ability to use basic shop equipment (drill press, band saw, sander, etc.).
    • Ability to use basic hand tools (grinder, drill motor, wrenches, etc.).

    Work Environment:

    • The hangar environment may have exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues such as temperature fluctuations.
    • Occasional outdoor exposure to heat, cold, and environmental elements.
