Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Student Placement Recruiter to join our team at the Glenmont Job Corps Center. The Student Placement Recruiter will be responsible for helping students find their next career. As well as demonstrates an on-going commitment to preparing young people for the workforce by modeling, mentoring and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and two years related supervisory experience or Associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and four years related supervisory experience.
Preferred: Master's degree in counseling, social work or a closely related field. Job Corps or similar experience working with disadvantaged youth preferred.
Knowledge Required: Sound knowledge of counseling techniques, excellent communication skills, both oral and written, knowledge of characteristics and problems of disadvantaged youth, must maintain CPR/FA certification.
