    Job Description

    Here's what you should know:

    The Student Recruitment and Enrollment Associate supports the Director of Student Recruitment in driving student enrollment initiatives and ensuring that prospective students and families have a seamless and positive experience throughout the admissions process. This role involves managing communication with families, maintaining accurate enrollment data, organizing recruitment events, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve enrollment goals.

    What you'll be doing:

    Student Recruitment Support

    • Assist the Director of Student Recruitment in executing strategic enrollment plans to meet application and enrollment targets.
    • Coordinate outreach efforts to engage prospective families, including phone calls, emails, and community visits.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, addressing inquiries and providing information about programs, policies, and enrollment steps.

    Event Coordination

    • Plan and support student recruitment events, including open houses, information sessions, school tours, and community fairs.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and ensure events are effectively advertised.
    • Track attendance and gather feedback from events to inform future planning.

    Data Management

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date enrollment data using the organization’s CRM or enrollment system.
    • Prepare regular reports on enrollment metrics, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
    • Monitor application statuses to ensure timely follow-up with families and support completion of required steps.

    Community & School Engagement

    • Partner with school-based teams to facilitate smooth transitions for new students and families.
    • Build relationships with community organizations to expand enrollment pipelines.
    • Provide excellent customer service to families, ensuring a welcoming and supportive experience.
    • Host one-on-one meetings with prospective feeder schools or programs to discuss school programs and enrollment requirements.
    • Support initiatives to retain enrolled families and encourage re-enrollment.

    SKILLS

    • Ability to design and execute enrollment plans aligned with organizational goal
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SchoolMint, or similar).
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
    • Experience in event planning and execution.

    KNOWLEDGE

    • Understanding of of enrollment pipelines, from lead generation to matriculation
    • Knowledge of local education systems and context for charter school enrollment
    • Expertise in strategies for increasing applications and conversion rates

    ABILITIES

    • Bilingual Spanish preferred
    • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with other departments
    • Excellent communication for presenting enrollment updates to multiple stakeholders
    • Focus on improving the applicant experience, from inquiry to enrollment
    • Willingness to pivot strategies in response to data insights and/or organizational priorities

    Must Haves:

    The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands;

    • Prolonged periods of working at computer and sitting at desk.
    • Travel to various school locations and community or related events as necessary.

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in student recruitment, customer service, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in enrollment, admissions, or related roles.
    • Experience working with diverse communities and demonstrating cultural competency.

    Additional Information

    The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000.
