Essential Job Functions
High School Team Expectations * Carry out the vision of CCV Student Ministry * Partner with the PEO Students team to execute ministry together * Provide feedback for the JH School experience in Peoria * Building set-up (Clean, Clear, Comfortable) * Lead Coach meetings * Guest Services oversight * Onboard new Volunteers with excellence * Participate in JH School event planning and camp execution * Open to growing as an on-stage communicator
Leadership of Volunteers Serving in High School * Recruit, train, and retain lead coaches * Recruit, train, and retain student coaches * Build camaraderie between a group of coaches
Pastoral Expectations * Pastor JH school students and Coaches * Follow up with first time students and utilize coaches to close the gap from first time visitor to regular attender * Mentor influential High School students to become Christ Centered Difference Makers * Partner with parents to help with concerns and student issues * Build relationships with local JH Schools and organizations such as FCA and CCV Stars to broaden the reach of the Peoria JH School Ministry * Create opportunities for our students, coaches, and parents to serve the schools and neighborhoods in our community * Recruit, train, and release teams to impact schools and neighborhoods * Be involved in High School Student Mission Trips – Planning, organizing, and attending. * Support High School services when needed and on team weekends
Peoria Team * Be a champion of the Peoria Campus team at large * Support Peoria Campus events * Serve in other departments to create camaraderie and teamwork * Build relationships with Peoria Campus staff members
