As a Sublimation Supervisor, you will lead and support your team while ensuring they achieve company goals. Your responsibilities include managing a skilled and diverse manufacturing team, overseeing all sublimation processes, maintaining daily workflow, and ensuring production schedules are executed on time. The Sublimation Supervisor is essential in ensuring quality control by identifying and resolving printing defects, color inconsistencies, and equipment malfunctions to maintain peak production efficiency.
What you will do:
Supervises Sublimation and Graphics Production employees, assisting other employees on production floor as needed
Supervise and coordinate all sublimation printing operations, including heat transfer, color matching and fabric preparation
Ensure accurate print placement, color consistency, and high-quality image transfer
Monitors employee productivity and provide training and coaching to improve performance on an ongoing basis
Reviews employee performance annually, provides performance, behavioral and/or attendance coaching and disciplinary action
Identifies and lead improvement efforts for area; reduce waste and increase efficiency
Responsible for safety regulation compliance of the team
What you need to have:
5+ years of experience in sublimation printing, or related manufacturing experience required
2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role required
Strong knowledge of sublimation printing, color accuracy, and material/fabric handling
Experience operating sublimation printers, heat presses and fabric cutting
Proficient with Adobe Illustrator required; knowledge of Sublimation RIP and/or Wasatch software preferred
Experience with Photoshop and Optitex a plus
Ability to effectively communicate with people from various backgrounds and ethnicities
Strong problem solving and excellent organizational skills
Good verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on efficiency and clarity
Good practical experience with MS Office and comfortable with technology
Ability to multitask , prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
Bilingual – English and Spanish strongly desired
High school diploma, associates degree desired
