Substitute Teacher | First Shift | Roselawn, OH

Summit Christian School, located inside New Prospect Baptist Church, is a close-knit micro school dedicated to nurturing students' academic, spiritual, and personal growth. We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive classroom environment, assisting students with online work, and ensuring that students continue to learn effectively in the absence of their regular teacher.

Responsibilities:

• Guide students through their online curriculum to ensure a seamless learning experience.
• Create a positive and nurturing environment that aligns with the school's Christian values.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure student engagement.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.
• Adapt to various grade levels and subjects as required.

Qualifications:

• Prefer Bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred, or current college student.
• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to different teaching environments and grade levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule :

As needed, Monday-Friday 8:30am-1:00pm

Pay :

$22 per hour
