Job Description

As an Accounting Intern , you will gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting for a publicly traded company. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who are looking to develop their technical and analytical skills while contributing to Enviri’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with documentation and finalizing month-end close for consolidations, administrative accounting, and reporting.
• Support 11-K audits , including compiling documents for 401-K and HEPP financial statements.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries currently handled by the Senior Accountant.
• Assist with 10-Q and quarter-close activities , including updating prior-year reports and compiling quarterly schedules from the finance portal.
• Help prepare footnotes and MD &A disclosure tie-outs for SEC reporting.

Expected Learning Outcomes for Intern

• Gain practical experience in SEC reporting and financial statement preparation.

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

• Current undergraduate (junior or above) or graduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software is a plus.
