Job Title: Summer Arts Teacher (Preschool Program)

Location: The Learning Experience Summercreek, Fort Worth, TX

Position Type: Part-Time, Seasonal (June)

Hours: 5-10 hours per week

About Us: The Learning Experience Summercreek is seeking a passionate and creative Summer Arts Teacher to lead engaging art activities for preschool learners as part of our summer program. This role offers a unique opportunity to inspire young artists, explore various art forms, and culminate the month with a special Art Gallery Show & Auction to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Responsibilities:

Plan and facilitate fun, age-appropriate art activities for preschool learners (ages 1-5) in a creative and structured environment.

Introduce children to different art mediums (painting, sculpting, mixed media, etc.) and encourage artistic expression.

Manage materials and maintain a clean, organized art space.

Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere where children feel encouraged to explore their creativity.

Prepare and showcase children's artwork for an end-of-month Art Gallery Show & Auction to raise funds for Make-A-Wish.

Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth and enriching summer arts experience.

Qualifications:

Experience working with young children in an educational, camp, or arts program setting.

Background in art education, fine arts, or early childhood education preferred.

Strong ability to engage and inspire young learners through hands-on creativity.

Passion for fostering self-expression and confidence in children through the arts.

Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
