About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Summer Camp Assistant Director to join our team at Overtime Athletics DMV in Ashburn or Aldie, VA. As the Ultimate Sports Camp Assistant Director, you will play a key role in creating a fun and engaging summer camp experience for children in the DMV area. Our camps are full-time, seasonal position for about 6 weeks, Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and implementation of daily camp activities associated with sports of basketball, soccer, flag football, floor hockey, and more

Implement skills, drills, games, scrimmage, tournaments schedule and activities per day

Supervise and lead camp counselors and staff

Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers

Coordinate with parents and communicate camp updates and information

Assist in managing camp logistics and operations

Requirements:

1-3 year prior experience working with children in a camp, coaching, or sports setting

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively with a team

CPR and First Aid certification preferred and will be required to obtain one

Passion for sports and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle
