About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselor at Overtime Athletics DMV. OTA Counselors leads children through a variety of activities including group gym games, arts & crafts, outdoor water play, themed activities, and more. This is a full time seasonal position during the summer, working with children ages 6-13 years of age.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage campers in various sports, arts & crafts, stem and other group recreational activities

Instruct campers on the rules and instructions for each activity

Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers

Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to campers

Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members

Requirements:

Prior experience working with children in a camp or recreational setting

Ability to lead and organize group activities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for sports and fitness

Background check required and CPR/First Aid certification highly recommended
