Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our talented professionals.

As a Process Systems and OOE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in process design, optimization, and system integration. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of process systems in a real-world industrial setting.

This position will be based onsite at Wonderful Citrus located in Delano, CA. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Assist in the analysis and design of process systems to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability
• Support in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data
• Help in analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives
• Design and build interactive dashboards using PowerBI, Ignition and ArchestrA
• Leverage SQL to efficiently store and manage data gathered from various systems
• Identify, develop, and support continuous improvement opportunities
• Update and develop departmental SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Assist with WOW projects and identifying quick wins
• Provide general administrative support to the automation team

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Industrial Automation, Engineering, or related
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum of beginner proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and able to work autonomously
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.
