About the Program
Our Summer Therapeutic Program offers a fun, educational experience for children with ADHD, Social Communication Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Using the Zones of Regulation framework, we focus on building emotional regulation, self-control, and social skills in a supportive, camp-like environment.
Led by a team of Occupational Therapists and Movement Specialists, the program combines therapeutic activities, exergaming, and structured play, making every day a chance for kids to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
Assist with activities designed to promote emotional regulation, social skills, and self-control.
Collaborate with therapists and specialists to support individual goals.
Facilitate group games, creative projects, and structured activities.
Provide encouragement and ensure participant safety.
Help with setup and cleanup of activities.
Qualifications
Experience working with children with special needs (preferred, but not required).
Familiarity with Zones of Regulation (training provided).
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Enthusiastic, patient, and compassionate.
