Position: Ultimate Sports Camp Director

Location: Ashburn or Aldie Job Type: Seasonal / Full Time Compensation: $21.00-$23.00 Camp: 6-9 weeks, Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm

Overtime Athletics is a leading provider of youth sports camps, offering fun, engaging, and skill-building experiences for kids. Our Ultimate Sports Camp gives young athletes the opportunity to play and improve their skills in a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, flag football, kickball, and more, while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and active fun.

Job Overview:

We are seeking energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Ultimate Sports Camp Director to lead campers in multi-sport activities, skill-building drills, and team-based games. This position is ideal for individuals who love sports, enjoy working with kids, and have experience in coaching, teaching, or mentoring.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and implement daily schedule of skills, drills, and games in various sports, including but not limited to soccer, basketball, flag football, kickball, and relay races.

Ensure a fun, safe, and positive camp environment for all participants.

Responsible for Camp Counselor's schedule and job duties

Teach the fundamentals of different sports, including rules, techniques, and teamwork strategies.

Lead warm-ups, drills, and games tailored to different skill levels.

Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for physical activity.

Provide encouragement and constructive feedback to campers.

Monitor camper behavior and ensure adherence to camp rules and safety guidelines.

Communicate with parents, fellow counselors, and camp directors as needed.

Qualifications:

Preferably at least 3 years of experience in a coaching or sports camp environment

Passion for sports and youth development.

Prior experience in coaching, teaching, or working with children preferred.

Basic understanding of multiple sports and game rules (playing experience is a plus).

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work outdoors and be active for extended periods.

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Must pass a background check.
