    JOB SUMMARY

     

    The Commissary Driver is responsible for the delivery, loading, removal, and clearing of all food and beverage as well as other essential supplies to all departing and returning scheduled, charter, and freighter flights.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Deliver, remove, and clear aircrafts of food, beverage, essential supplies, and catering waste in an efficient manner
    • Perform safety inspection of truck prior and after shift
    • Remove and clear aircraft of food, beverage, essential supplies, and catering waste
    • Assist with preparing Personal Supply Kits
    • Prepare soda and beverage cats
    • Coordinate with the manager and other employees to turn multiple planes at the same time
    • Ability to service International and domestic charter and scheduled flights
    • Troubleshoot any interruption to normally scheduled and charter gate sheets
    • Maintain cleanliness of workspace
    • Communicate with other departments as necessary
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    Required Skills

    Must be able to lift up to 75lbs

    • Must be able to physically move and navigate up and down a ladder
    • Acceptable driving record required
    • Able to work beyond scheduled shift time to accommodate flight operations
    • Adaptable team play
    • Time Management: Aircraft Loading is all about time and detail
    • Understanding temperature and food safety standards and compliance
    • Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country Airlines

    Required Experience

    ADDITIONAL NOTES:

    Must be able to obtain an MSP SIDA badge and Customs Seal.
