RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports Agency leadership with day to day operations/workflow and ensure daily service standards 
• Day-to-day servicing client accounts
• Contributes to and implements agency marketing plan as well as vision of the agency
• Supports agency staff with technical advice and coverage analysis, can identify gaps 
• Proficiently operates agency management software and can supervise procedures within 
• Ability to prepare Acord applications and build out Acord applications in EPIC as well as to complete or assist insured with completion of supplemental applications and questionnaires
• Ability to rate coverage online with markets and to process endorsements online where necessary
• Prepares proposal presentations
• Able to produce commercial and personal lines business
• Reviews coverage forms to confirm coverage and comparing coverage forms between various carriers
• Reviews insurance language in contracts (additional insured requirements, waivers of subrogation, loss payees, etc.)
• Invoicing and receivables management support for accounting  
• Assists the Marketer by having the ability to market all types of commercial lines new business and renewals when needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficient in Agency Management Software-EPIC a plus
• 5-10 years’ experience in a similar position  
• College degree preferred
• Must be able to work independently
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills. 
• Property & Casualty Agent/Producer License required
